In Hindu mythology, Mata Kushmanda is worshipped as the cosmic creator whose bright smile is believed to have given birth to the world. Her name is formed from three Sanskrit terms: "Ku" as little, "Ushma" as warmth or vital energy, and "Anda" as the cosmic egg. As the solar system deity, she is thought to grant her believers good health, bravery, and wealth and protect them from diseases and adversities.

Conversely, Goddess Skandamata is the personification of maternal love, kindness, and divine wisdom. She is worshiped for leading her followers towards material as well as spiritual prosperity.
